Ever Pallas (he/they) is an Art Director, Editor, and Filmmaker living in Oakland whose critical enactment is one of repeatedly examining discourse for false dualities in order to illuminate who benefits from generalized obscurity. As such, Ever centers his politics on how the intersections of transness, BIPOCs, and abledness illuminate pathways for collective liberation, rather than individualized upward mobility. Trained in classical graphic design methods of form and function, such as minimizing the use of orphans and widows and the mathematics of constructing a formal grid, they take great pride in boldly imbuing these methods into striking contemporary arrangements. Through paper sculpture, interactions, and printed media he is a passive inventor of microenvironments for empathetic accountability. Their site specificity involves a process receiving and channeling the intersectional complexity of our human condition into visceral objects and convivial happenings. He is fascinated with the concept of cool as a facet/function of subconscious othering and dismissive supremacy—as such believes art should act in firm opposition to affective detachment and star potential.

Ever has an MS in Fiction and Entertainment from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, where he studied the full gamut of film production from pre to post including production design, modeling, editing, and VFX flows.

They completed an MA in Art and the Book from The Corcoran College of Art and Design at George Washington University where they learned methods of book layout, papermaking, printmaking, and sculpture.

And he self designed a BA program called Relational Design within the Sustainable Community Development program at Prescott College which examined design theory as it pertains to community building in urban environments, whether that is spatial, graphic, or narrative.

They enjoy hiking, yoga, and being a steady asset to any team.
